Since the spaces near the old mill and covered bridge were filled, we parked at the top of Slippery Rock Gorge.
Pictured here is a section of the stairs which connect the Kildoo Parking area to the old mill.

Every photo you post of McConnells Mill State Park has been beautiful. I wonder if the steps were laid there or were they chiseled in place from existing rock...looks impossible either way.
