This shot of Hell's Run is really great. It looks so calm here and beautiful. Who would think of it as a wild trout stream.
ReplyDeleteGreetings --I was at Kildoo falls/bridge this afternoon & it sounded like quite a lot of water was flowing. After all the snowfall this winter, spring should bring some nice opportunities to photograph the falls. Didn't have time to hike to the bottom & get a photo, but I hope to try again soon. Nice blog, BTW. Tasteful & well presented. And, I like the subject matter (I'm new to the area, in fact, & have been exploring the parks).
ReplyDeleteI am so glad i found your site. Fantastic photos - thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI have been going through your McConnell's Mill photos and they're beautiful. You seem to really know your way around the park. I once visited a waterfall that I have not been able to find my way back to. I'm really hoping you can help me find my way back.
ReplyDeleteI can remember parking in a lot and walking downhill on a concrete road to a large concrete platform. The waterfall seemed to be under the road. I hiked down a steep hill right from the road. I had to squeeze through some large rock formations and found a giant waterfall (at least my memory tells me it was big). You could actually walk behind the waterfall. It was quite a sight, and I haven't been able to find my way back there. Please help!
Was this Breakneck Falls along Breakneck Road? Does that sound familiar?
