Along the Trail

Alpha Trail in McConnells Mill State Park in Pennsylvania. Sorry I have not posted in awhile; my job is starting to consume more and more of my free time.

Tree Covered Mushroom(s)

Well at least it appears that way. The tree is covered with hundreds of little fungi pictured above.

Dog Tracks

This image was taken last Sunday in McConnells Mill during a walk with my wife. We then headed over to Moraine and happened upon a woman who had spent the last five hours looking for her two lost St. Bernards. I hope she found them.

Fern in the Snow

Frozen Pond

This was taken from a small bridge not far from Moraine's bicycle path.

Pile of Rocks

The white area between two rocks in the right of the photo is foam from decomposing plants. Slippery Rock Creek in McConnells Mill.

Stairs Revisited

This is one of my favorite sets of stairs along the Kildoo Trail. I also snapped a photo back in July which appears very different with the green touch-me-nots and other plants.

Down Stream

I should have posted this photo before my last one. The above image was taken before we arrived to the covered bridge from Kildoo Trail. Behind the bridge you can see the old mill.

Can We Take It Home?

'Umm, I don't think we can take the tree home, honey....' My middle daughter then saw a bee near the roots and concluded that there must be a bee's nest inside. She did not want it anymore.
